Welcome to another episode of The Marketer’s Edge, a series designed to share senior level marketing perspective about marketer challenges, opportunities, and agency relationships. Our goal is to help marketers and agencies learn from other marketers across different industries. Today we are speaking with Randy Kush, co-owner of 7 Day Furniture in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.

7 Day Furniture

7 Day Furniture and Mattress Store was founded by Rod Kush in 1987, after a successful career  in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills and Houston Oilers. It was originally called Furniture on Consignment before rebranding as Rod Kush’s Furniture, and at one point had over 10 locations throughout Nebraska and Iowa. When the economy turned south in the mid 2000’s the company had to shrink back down to one location to survive, and was again rebranded as 7 Day Furniture. In late 2015/ early 2016, Rod’s two sons Troy and Randy joined the business as Co-Owners, with the intention of taking over ownership. 7 Day Furniture is truly a local, family-owned business with 65 employees. They are proud to be a part of the greater Omaha and Lincoln communities and their promise to their customers and their mission is to always provide the best quality service and products at the most affordable prices.
