Chandon, a wine and spirits manufacturer was looking to make their lives simpler by consolidating their large roster of agencies down to only one or two.
Chandon was looking for a full service Agency to manage their account. They had been trying to manage a number of different Agency relationships (different areas of expertise) and they were finding that all of their time was being consumed by this management effort. They also had a very hard time managing the brand’s equities/standards across these different Agency firms. They needed one Agency that could help them across multiple disciplines.
They were interested in firms with wine/spirits experience located in Western most states. They were also interested in finding an Agency that had strong platforms of support (e.g. strong PR, strong Digital) across different disciplines – and one where Chandon would prove a sizeable enough client to get the attention they felt they needed/deserved.
RSW/AgencySearch presented a number of different Agencies, across a range of sizes, including McCann’s San Francisco office. After the initial phase of evaluation, Chandon selected four Agencies to present campaign ideas. They selected two for follow-up presentations and ultimately selected BPN/Pollinate out of Oregon to support their business. The relationship has been going strong since 2010 and both the Client and the Agency appear very happy with the engagement.
